National Call-In Week on Darfur
March 26-30, 2007Call your member of Congress and urge them to take action on Darfur! Let them know that you are concerned about the ongoing crisis in Darfur and specifically, that you would appreciate it if their office contacted the Chinese Embassy to tell China to pressure the Sudanese government to accept the UN Peacekeepers in Darfur. As the largest foreign investor in Sudan, China is in a position to influence the decisions of the Sudanese government. kitfinal.pdf. Also, feel free to contact Leon Ratz at neinternnyc@aiusa.org if you have any questions.
If you live in Congressman Rodney Frelinghuysen's District, please call his office at 973-984-0711 and tell him to contact the Chinese Embassy and press the Chinese to support human rights in Sudan.
